A STROLL THROUGH THE JAPANESE GARDENS
FORT WORTH, TEXAS.
My wife, son, and I decided to take a relaxing stroll through the Japanese Gardens this afternoon to capture a few images of the Fall color. The tranquil water, koi carp, beautiful blue sky, and variety of red, yellow, and green leaves gave me yet another reason to reflect on this season of "giving thanks". This image was taken from the gazebo-type building about halfway into the gardens.
This is a ginko tree just before you enter the main garden area.
This bridge is centrally located in the garden and is one of the highlights for most photographers that I've seen there.
One of the main walkways in the central portion of the gardens.
The red berries, varying shades of green in the small bushes/ ground covers, and small sculptures throughout the gardens beautifully accent the overall appeal of this Fort Worth treasure.
Honeybees flocked to this plant, which is scattered throughout the gardens.
